Bohol’s tourism industry received a significant boost as the Grand Bohol Harvest 2025 opened with the Bohol International Flower and Fashion Festival on November 21 at BE Grand Resort Bohol.
The event launched its floral gallery, showcasing the works of 27 award-winning florists from Europe, Asia, and the Pacific who transformed the BE Grand Convention Centre into a walk-through floral exhibition highlighting Bohol’s botanical richness.
Among the featured florists were Yongwon Cha of Seoul, Komang Budinata of Bali, Melit Andoy of the Philippines, Lydia Chang of Macau, Iza Tkazyck of Poland, Kiem Nguyen of Vietnam, Kathy Ong of Malaysia, Michael Yu of Bohol, and several others from across the globe.
Complementing the floral artistry, 27 Filipino designers presented a floral-inspired runway lineup, including renowned names such as Philip Rodriguez, Francis Libiran, Cary Santiago, Oj Hofer, Protacio Empaces, Jun Escario, Ej Relampagos, and more, completing the international creative showcase.
The festival underscored the collaboration between global florists and Filipino designers, integrating locally sourced flora and design elements that reflect Bohol’s natural identity and cultural creativity. Tourism stakeholders reported increased visitor turnout, highlighting the event’s growing role in diversifying Bohol’s tourism offerings through design, gastronomy, and cultural experiences.
The celebration also featured the Bohol Food and Wine Festival, giving guests a curated taste of local flavors as part of the Grand Bohol Harvest festivities.
