🏆 CONGRATULATIONS, GREATER TAFT BAKAL BOYS! 🏆

A huge congratulations to the Greater Taft Bakal Boys for proudly finishing as 1st Runner-Up in the recently concluded 7th Matarinao Sepak Takraw Fiesta Tournament, held on October 3–4, 2026, at Brgy. Matarinao, Salcedo, Eastern Samar!

This achievement makes it two consecutive years of finishing as 1st Runner-Up in the same tournament. Last year, the team was also represented by Kuya Jerald Gubalane and CharLes Balleras as their spikers. This year, the Bakal Boys once again showed their determination, teamwork, and fighting spirit on the court. 💪🔥

Tekong: Joshmer Nuñez
Setter: Paul Ranoco
Spikers: Ediboy Corañes & John Daren Ciar

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Sir Edwin Dagunot for giving the Team Bakal Boys the opportunity to compete and represent Greater Taft, as well as for the warm accommodation and excellent playing venue.

We would also like to sincerely thank Kuya Ediboy Corañes and his family for warmly accommodating us at their home after the tournament. Your kindness and hospitality are truly appreciated. 🙏❤️
