We would like to thank all participants for taking part of the 1st ASENSO OROQUIETA RUN yesterday! We sincerely appreciate the support of all our sponsors as well as all the local government agencies headed by Ms. Nanieth Bandala Acosta in coordination with Mr. Gian Echavez. Distribution of RaceKit and Shirts will continue today from 9:00am to 5:00pm at room #5, Oroquieta Town Center, located at the back of Oroquieta Bus Terminal.

📣Heads Up 21k runners‼️

We have minor changes on our run route for 21K category

👉The Run Route: From the Oroquieta Plaza, we will take Dr. Jose Rizal street then turn left at Osilao Street and head straight to the Provincial Capitol Building. We will then take H.Toledo Street and turn right at Independence street that will lead you to the TESDA office. About a hundred meters from the TESDA gate is your Turn Around Point (your first) then take the Independence Street again that leads you back to where came from. Once you reach the intersection Ozamis - Oroquieta Hiway (JOLLIBEE at the corner), you then turn left for your SECOND LOOP.

You will once again take the same route as your first loop like going through the capitol building, to the TESDA office and make another turn around (your 2nd) at the turning point. You then follow the Independence street and once you reach the intersection at the plaza (fronting Robinsons), you go straight to the boulevard and head to the Finish Line.

There will be Directional Signs in all intersections that will be manned by the City Traffic Personnel who will be the Race Marshals. Hydration Stations are likewise available in every 2kilometers (approximately) of the run course. Medics from the City Health office will be stationed along the run route.

Our call time on October 15, 2023, Sunday will still be at 3:30am. Let us gather at the boulevard of the Oroquieta City Plaza. Short opening program with prayer starts at 3:45am to be followed by a warm up exercise before at the Gun Start at 4:00am

👉Our call time on October 15, 2023, Sunday will be at 4:35am. Let us gather at the boulevard of the Oroquieta City Plaza. We will have a short race briefing at 4:45am and will be followed by a warm up exercise before at the Gun Start at 5:00 am

The Run Route: From the Oroquieta Plaza, we will take Dr. Jose Rizal street then turn left at Osilao Street and head straight to the Provincial Capitol Building. We will then take H.Toledo Street and turn right at Independence street that will lead you to your turning point which is about 1km away. After you turn around, you will then take the Independence Street again that leads you back to the Plaza. Once you reach the intersection at the Plaza (fronting Robinsons), you go straight to the Boulevard where you can find the finish line.

👉Our call time on October 15, 2023, Sunday will be at 4:05 am. Let us gather at the boulevard of the Oroquieta City Plaza. We will have a short race briefing at 4:15 am and will be followed by a warm up exercise before at the Gun Start at 4:30am

The Run Route: From the Oroquieta Plaza, we will take Dr. Jose Rizal street then turn left at Osilao Street and head straight to the Provincial Capitol Building. We will then take H.Toledo Street and turn right at Independence street that will lead you to the famous Barko Barko house, where you can find your Turn around sign. You will then take the Independence Street again that leads you back to the Plaza. Once you reach the intersection at the Plaza (fronting Robinsons), you go straight to the Boulevard where you can find the finish line.

There will be Directional Signs in all intersections that will be manned by the City Traffic Personnel who will be the Race Marshals.
