We were glad to see some of the coaches who attended the recent Basic Coaching Seminar at 88 Square Mall Table Tennis Center. The seminar started with a raffle draw of YASAKA merch. All of the coaches were happy to get one. Thank you Yasaka! 🙇🏓

It was another interactive seminar where coaches observed the basic patterns for many ball training while their intermediate players took part in Coach Yogi's demonstration.

Coach Yogi emphasized the key points in training intermediate players: posture, footwork, contact. 💪🏓

‎Qualification to join:
‎Priority Registration is given to players already known to our club, new participants are expected to be honest with regards to their skill level. This tournament is for those players who are already leveled up from class D and C, grade school top Caliber players, high school players, college players,club players and non rank players whose class corresponds to this competition level are welcome to test their skills against same skill level.

Disclaimer: Organizing Committee has the right to refuse players with skills they deemed not fit to the tourney.

RULES AND SYSTEM OF PLAY
The tournament shall be conducted in accordance with the ITTF rules, however, any unforeseen circumstances that may arise throughout the tournament which are not covered by the ITTF rules shall be resolved by the Tournament Management Committee.

Match Format:
1. All matches shall be decided by the best of five (5) game format.
2. 1ST round is a round-robin. Players will be grouped into 4 to 8 groups.
3. Players in the group will be initially classified as the following:
Rank #1 –> C+
Rank #2 –> C
Rank #3 –> C –
Rank #4 –> D

4. 2nd Round is the Quarter Finals to Finals and will be a single elimination or knockout system.
5. Point system/Win over the other rules will be followed in resolving ties.

MATCH OFFICIATING
Designated umpires will officiate the matches.

EQUIPMENT
Table – Four (4) ITTF Approved Tables (Victas and Joola)
Official ball – TBA
