focusing on the importance of light and how it helps revolutionize our global society. The project was initiated by the Goethe-Institut Bangkok in 2005 and developed into an international event in 2010, taking place meanwhile in 2015 for various durations between 07 October – 09 December in Cambodia, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Palestine, the Philippines, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates and Vietnam. The festival presents films, which communicate technological and scientific issues accessibly and entertainingly to a broad audience, especially to young pupils and students.
