This could be our last summer ride before we gear up for the upcoming fender season. We’re keeping it short, fun, and easy with a city ride rolling out from the WRCCC HQ. The route takes us around QC and through the back roads of Mandaluyong, with a stop at a picturesque church along the way before ending at the chill vibes of Type A Cafe in the city center.

Get your rigs ready and put on your best kits. See you on Sunday!

The WRCCC HQ was packed, and it was great to see old faces resurfacing and new ones joining this cozy ride. Some of the OGs are coming back from a cycling hiatus, so it felt just right to push the pace a bit to properly re-acquaint them with the flow.

As if the summer breeze wasn’t enough of a challenge, we led the group to the famous Canley climb, a segment that proves the ride is worth it even within a short distance. From there, we passed through BGC on our way to our coffee stop in Makati, .concepts. Its cozy outdoor vibe was perfect for decompressing and catching up over good bike chat.

If you asked us to paint our idea of a coffee ride, this would be exactly what we have in mind: a warm meet-up, a challenging route, and a cozy coffee stop. The vibe was so good that we lost track of time and literally got burned by the sun on our way back.

All in all, these are the types of rides that satisfy our love for cycling… and coffee. See you on the next one! ✌️
