the promising designers of Lumban all brought their best foot forward for the BurDoll Designing Competition - a challege of artistry and aptitude for style and detail in designing. The participants designer’s task for this competition was to make a design of a contemporary Filipiniana gown to dress up a Barbie doll as a miniature perspective of a full-scale ensemble.

The Burdaderas showed off their superlative abilities and knack in the needlework as they compete among one another in the Timpalak Galing sa Pagbuburda- a competition for the best hand embroiderers of Lumban. A total of 30 experienced embroiderers vied in the competition.
