Sound Stage is a passion twenty years in the making...
Joseph A. Barredo always had a passion in music and singing. At the young age of 17 years, he was one of the youngest vocal coaches at the Center for Pop Music Philippines. After completing his Bachelor Degree in Communication Arts from the University of Santo Tomas, he pursued a career in film, video and television. These brought him to many occupations such as a producer, a director, a scriptwriter and a production manager. Aside from his day job in the television industry, he continued to teach aspiring singers and performers who would be taking the TESDA exams so they can work in Japan and Korea.
He continued work as an OFW in Singapore where he did various projects for Discovery Channel, BBC, National Geographic, Asian Food Channel, DELTA airlines and Singapore Health Promotions Board.
In 2013, he decided to come home to the Philippines and reside in Lucban, Quezon. In 2016, Sound Stage was born. This was his dream back in 1995 when he visioned a studio called “Divas & Soul” where students will be able to hone their craft in singing and performing.
In just over two years, Sound Stage has reached over 250 courses and more than 100 students not just from Lucban but also the neighboring places such as Luisiana, Lucena, Sampaloc, Tayabas and even as far as Atimonan and Candelaria.
