IN PHOTOS | ROTC Graduation Ceremony 2026

On May 21, 2026, the Alpha Centauri Educational System Inc. PAF ROTC Unit successfully conducted its ROTC Graduation Ceremony together with the Change of Command Ceremony. The program officially started with the Entry of Colors, singing of the National Anthem, and an opening prayer led by C/Cpt Ivan C Caseres 2CL S1, followed by the welcome remarks of Ms. Rose Anne S. Paras, NSTP Coordinator.

The event highlighted the presentation and declaration of Basic and Advance ROTC graduates led by SSg Raymond B Guiriba PAF and 2LT ROLANDO A EDRA JR PAF, Commandant of ACES. Graduates proudly received their Certificates of Completion, diplomas, and awards through the support of Ms. Joanne O. Medina, Vice President for Administrative Services of ACES.

The ceremony also included the formal Turn-over of Basic PAF ROTC Graduates to the PAF Reserve Force and the oath-taking ceremony headed by CPT JOHNVIK B VILLIADAREZ PAF (RES), Assistant Director for Operation W3, TOWRSOL and Special Guest.

One of the highlights of the program was the Change of Command Ceremony, where C/COL FELIPHA C AYALA 1CL officially relinquished her position as Corps Commander and formally passed the responsibility of leadership to the newly appointed Corps Commander, C/CPT APRIL ROSE P QUITO 2CL. The ceremony symbolized the continuation of discipline, leadership, commitment, and service within the ACES ROTC family.

The event concluded with the inspiring message from the Guest of Honor and the mass singing of the Air Force Hymn, leaving every cadet and cadette with pride, honor, and motivation as they continue their journey of leadership and service.

Congratulations to all Basic and Advance ROTC Graduates and to the new set of officers of the ACES ROTC Unit.

IN PHOTOS: Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) Last Training Day

On 26 April 2026, the ROTC program successfully conducted its Live Firing Activity in Lipa, focusing on the proper use and safety handling of the M-16 rifle. The activity was guided by SSg Raymond B. Guiriba PAF and attended by other PAF Officers giving guidance among Advance Officers and Basic Cadets/Cadettes of Alpha Centauri Educational System Inc. (ACES).

The activity emphasized that firing is not about aggression, but about discipline, control, and responsibility. Cadets were trained on proper firing techniques, correct posture, and strict safety protocols, ensuring that every action taken on the range followed proper procedures. They were also reminded to maintain awareness of their surroundings and to handle fi****ms with utmost respect at all times.

As future law enforcers, hands-on experience in firearm handling is essential. This activity helped cadets develop confidence, precision, and discipline, while reinforcing the importance of accountability and sound judgment in the use of fi****ms.

Through this activity, cadets were reminded that true strength lies not in the weapon itself, but in the discipline, responsibility, and integrity of the one who carries it.

On 17 April 2026, Military Training Instructor (MTI) from the 3rd Air Reserve Center (3rd ARCen) conducted training for selected advance officers of ACES, under the guidance and supervision of SSg Raymond B. Guiriba PAF and other advance officers.

The Alpha Center Educational System Inc. began the day at 0700 with a flag raising ceremony and attendance checking, preparing the cadets for a series of drills.

The training focused on drills and firing activity, aimed at enhancing coordination, precision, and teamwork among the cadets. These activities were conducted in preparation for the upcoming firing activity, ensuring that the cadets are physically and mentally ready, as well as aligned with proper procedures and discipline.

In addition, the instructors emphasized the importance of responsibility, focus, and strict adherence to safety rules during the activity. Cadets were reminded to remain alert, follow commands properly, and demonstrate discipline at all times as part of their preparation.
