The LGU Kapalong has granted incentives to all KAPAA athlete medalists who represented the municipality during the DAVRAA 2026. The initiative aims to recognize the efforts and achievements of the athletes who brought pride and honor to Kapalong through their outstanding performance in the regional competition.

Through the leadership of Edgardo L. Timbol, the incentive-giving reflects the local governmentโ€™s continued support for sports development and youth empowerment. The athletes expressed their gratitude for the recognition, as the incentives serve as both a reward for their hard work and an encouragement to strive for greater success in future competitions.

The Kapalong Athletic Association (KAPAA) held an Appreciation Night on February 4, 2026, recognizing the dedication and commitment of coaches, trainers, and chaperones who supported the delegation during the 2026 Division Athletic Meet.

The event was attended by KAPAA Chairperson PSDS Dominic M. Dizon and KAPAA Co-Chairperson PSDS Ana N. Redaniel, alongside SB Member Ayette Timbol and Hon. Vice Mayor Kim Quesada.
