We, from the JC1G1G Church Administration together with the UNITED WE PLAY Event Team, would like to sincerely extend our heartfelt apology and humbly ask for your kind understanding and consideration regarding our upcoming event, UNITED WE PLAY SEASON 4: Sportfest for a Cause.
In light of the current global situation, particularly the tensions involving the US, Israel, and Iran, we recognize that its effects are not confined to those regions alone but are being felt worldwide—including here in the Philippines. The resulting economic challenges, such as the rising oil prices, increased transportation fares, and the continuous surge in the cost of basic commodities, have significantly impacted our planning and overall event readiness.
With this, after much prayer, reflection, and careful evaluation, we have made the difficult but necessary decision to delay/postpone the event. This decision does not come from a place of fear nor a weakening of our faith in God, but rather from a place of wisdom and stewardship. We firmly believe that faith and wisdom go hand in hand, and in this season, we are being led to act with discernment for the welfare of everyone involved.
We deeply acknowledge and appreciate your unwavering support throughout the years—from Season 1 up to Season 3. Your generosity and partnership have been instrumental in making this ministry and event possible. For that, we are truly grateful.
Please know that this decision was not made lightly. We have invested time, effort, and resources in preparing for this event, and it is with heavy hearts that we take this step. However, we remain hopeful and confident that in God’s perfect timing, we will be able to move forward again—stronger and more prepared.
We humbly ask for your continued understanding, prayers, and support during this time. May we all remain steadfast in faith, trusting that God is in control even in the midst of uncertainty.
