The best part of my job happens 10 or 30 minutes before the show starts.

It’s that moment backstage where I look at the client—who has been stressed for six months planning this—and I say, "I’ve got the mic now. You go enjoy your night." Seeing their shoulders drop and a smile finally break across their face? That’s my real "standing ovation."

As I look back on 2025, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. Balancing a demanding full-time career while building jyhost as your Emcee has been a marathon of grit, high heels, and late-night script prep—and I wouldn’t trade a single second of it. 👠💻

Being a millennial woman in this space means constantly proving that you can be both a corporate professional and a creative powerhouse. To every client who trusted my voice to lead your event: Thank you. You didn't just hire a host; you supported a woman-owned dream.

Had the privilege of hosting our sponty Christmas Party last night 🎉🥳 Grateful for the trust and confidence of my business partners who believed that I can pull it off in such a short notice...like less than an hour notice?!! 😂 Good thing, it just came naturally since you've known most of the people who attended for a decade or more! Whew!!

I had a blast last night and it was so fun to be reunited with previous business partners I met few years ago.

P.S.
I'm also back to my entrepreneur era! Yasss! Back to the side hustle while doing hosting on the side and of course....full time job! Dahil sa panahon ngayon, di na po kasya ang P500 sa nochebuena! 😂
