It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to one of the legends of the motorcycle community, Marcenito "Elkapitan" Pableo.

Elkapitan wasn't just a rider; he was a pioneer, a mentor, and a true inspiration to all who knew him. His passion for the open road and the spirit of adventure led him to found the Motorcycle Endurance Challenge in Mindanao, forever changing the landscape of motorcycle events and endurance rides.

Through his vision, Elkapitan opened new routes, connected riders from all walks of life, and created a family of endurance enthusiasts who will forever carry his legacy. He was more than just an organizer; he was a teacher, a leader, and someone who believed in pushing the limits—both on and off the bike.

Elkapitan's dedication wasn’t just to the sport. He was a Professional Teacher who impacted many lives, shaping young minds with the same passion, dedication, and discipline that he showed in his motorcycle challenges. His commitment to education and to his students will never be forgotten.

As we remember "Elkapitan," let's celebrate the immense contributions he made to the community, the passion he ignited in us all, and the memories that will live on. To all the endurance riders who crossed paths with him, we know that a part of him rides with us still.

On this Father’s Day, we also honor his role as a loving father. Elkapitan's strength, wisdom, and heart will forever guide those who loved him. 💙

It is with heavy heart to announce the passing of our beloved lady rider Ma'am Eleanor also known as Pobreng Laagan.
She's known to be very kind, passionate, adventurous. A great friend to many and most importantly, a loving wife and mother.

Ride in Paradise, Maam! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. 🕊

Exactly a year ago.
Half a thousand riders gathered in one place to participate in endurance ride challenge.

Although it may be portrayed as tragic by few, it is undeniably remembered by the participants as one of their memorable and best moments as they have witnessed and experienced a prestigious and well-catered event.

Riders acquainted.
Friendships grew.
People helped one another.
Our Men in Uniforms and Rescuers from different cities volunteered.
Marshals are very accomodating.
Hours of orientations and reminders
And a lot more happened in a 3 day event.

We are still grateful to all the people who became part of this unforgettable experience.

Although DMEC Season 3 concluded last August 14. We are not done yet with the responsibility that we have to impart to the public and its constituents.

Unfortunate situation leads to wrong information being circulated by some with the intent of spreading fake news and politicking for personal gains which resulted to bad impression.

These are the battles left for us to straighten things up and to clear the allegations.

We remembered that DMEC Season 3 organizers took the necessary preventive measures, preparations, orientation, guidelines, rules and regulations - strictly and faithfully like no other, these steps and initiative are posted in our page for public information.
It also prepared and complied with the necessary requirements such as Event proposals, Event plan, Event Safety Plan, Medical Plan, Facility Layout Plan, and all the Approval certificates and permits.

We took the effort and liberty today (10/06/22) to head straight to ICDRRMO, almost a couple of months after we are 1st summoned; to seek for advice and clarification regarding the RA 4136, Art. 1, Section 35-B. It was recently implemented as part of the now then requirements for certification of the said office, days after the said incident that shook the public attention. In this manner, we were hoping for a fruitful discussion on what's to know and has to be done more importantly if other organizers were to decide on establishing such alike events in the near future - If God permits.

We thank all the people who recognized and appreciated all the efforts we have done to make the event a dignified, prestigious, and memorable one.

To our Dignified Finishers, all of your efforts and perseverance will not go in vain. Be proud and wear it as you earned it.

For the infinite reminder, Endurance challenge is NOT, SHOULD NOT, and MUST NOT be a race.
