🙏 Devotional: “Living for What Is Eternal”

2 Corinthians 5:1–12

“For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven…” — 2 Corinthians 5:1

Minsan, sobrang focused tayo sa kung ano ang nangyayari ngayon, problems, pressure, disappointments, work, relationships, and even the things we are trying to achieve. Pero Paul reminds us that this life is temporary. Parang tent lang, useful for a season, but it is not our permanent home.

But remember: God is preparing something eternal. What we see today is not the whole story.

Verse 7 says:

“For we live by faith, not by sight.”

And verse 9 gives us a simple goal:

“So we make it our goal to please him…”

At the end of the day, hindi lang dapat tanungin natin, “Naging successful ba ako?”
But also, “Nakalugod ba ako sa Diyos?”

Whatever season you are in right now, keep going. This world is not your final destination. Your hope is in Christ, and your future is secure in Him.

Are you living more for what you can see today, or for what God has promised for eternity?

“Lord, help me not to be controlled by temporary things. Teach me to live by faith and not by sight. When I feel tired or uncertain, remind me that my true home and hope are with You. May my life, my choices, and everything I do be pleasing to You. Amen.”

Loyalty: Staying True When It’s Not Easy

Proverbs 17:17 (KJV)
“A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.”

God remains faithful even when we are not. He doesn’t leave us when we fail, struggle, or feel lost.

Loyalty is more than saying, “I got your back.” It is choosing to stay, to pray, to forgive, and to do what is right even when nobody is watching.

As a Cars & Christ community, let our cars bring people together, but more importantly, let our faithfulness and loyalty reflect Christ.

Remember:
Real loyalty isn’t tested when everything is good. It is proven when things get difficult.

🙏 Stay loyal. Stay faithful. Stay rooted in Christ.

Cars may bring us together, but Christ is what keeps us connected. 🚗✝️

“Enjoy car life! Enjoy cars with Christ!”

🚗 CARS & CHRIST DEVOTIONAL: Discipline Over Desire

“For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”
— 2 Timothy 1:7

Minsan gusto nating mag-upgrade, mag-modify, mag-speed, or bumili ng bagong parts. Pero kailangan din ng disiplina, alam natin kung kailan mag-go at kung kailan mag-hold back.

Ganoon din sa buhay.

Discipline is choosing what is right over what is easy.

May traffic rules. May red light na kailangan nating hintuan kahit wala namang ibang sasakyan.

Why? Because discipline protects us.

As Cars & Christ, let’s remember:

🚘 Control your speed.
❤️ Control your words.
🙏 Control your desires.
✝️ Let Christ control your direction.

Because having a beautiful car is great, but having a disciplined life that honors Christ is greater.

Drive with discipline. Live with purpose. Follow Christ.

“Enjoy car life! Enjoy cars with Christ!”

🌧️ Staying Safe and Dry: God Is Our Shelter

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1

Hindi natin kontrolado kung kailan darating ang ulan, pero we can choose where we take shelter.

God reminds us that He is our refuge.

So today, stay safe, stay dry, and most importantly, stay close to God.
Kung hindi man natin mapigilan ang ulan sa labas, we can still have peace inside because we know that God is with us.

“Lord, thank You for being our refuge and protection. Keep our families and loved ones safe, especially during difficult weather and difficult seasons in life. Give us wisdom to know when to stay, when to move, and always remind us that You are with us. Amen.”

Stay safe. Stay dry. Stay under God’s covering. 🙏🌧️

God bless everyone!

It’s Not Always About the Approach, But How You Respond

“A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.” — Proverbs 15:1

“Enjoy car life! Enjoy cars with Christ!”

Make friends not enemies!
Let us build a community and make Jesus famous!

Salvation is the Greatest Upgrade

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast.” —Ephesians 2:8–9

Salvation is not something we earn. Salvation is a gift from God through Jesus Christ.

Just like every car needs the right driver, every life needs the right Savior.

Have I truly trusted Him as my Lord and Savior?

“Lord Jesus, thank You for the gift of salvation. Use me to point others to You, both on the road and in our car community. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Cars & Christ Meet: More Than Cars, It’s Community

It’s easy to admire a clean build, rare wheels, or a powerful engine. But what makes a car community truly beautiful isn’t the cars, it’s the people behind them.

A friendly community welcomes everyone, whether it’s their first meet or their hundredth. Walang yabang, walang competition, kundi encouragement, respect, at genuine fellowship.

The same is true in our walk with Christ. Jesus calls us to love one another, to be welcoming, and to build each other up. Every conversation, every handshake, and every act of kindness can reflect His love.

As we gather every meet, may people remember not only the cars they saw, but the love of Christ they experienced through us.

“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:11 (NIV)

When people leave our meet, will they only remember your car, or will they remember the kindness of Christ they experienced through you?
