Because that's how we do it here in DI**LE.
Since 2007, the Municipality of Di**le has been building most of its own infrastructure โ concrete roads, bridges, multipurpose buildings, and now, school buildings โ 100% local funds, and by administration instead of awarding it to a private contractor.
Calicuang National High School is the latest proof.
This is a high school in a barangay โ Calicuang โ that now has an additional 2-storey, 8-classroom building funded entirely by the LGU for โฑ16 million.
This is what the Municipality of Di**le has been proving, project by project: an LGU doesn't have to wait on anyone. It can build for its own people, with its own funds, on its own terms โ and still deliver something built to last.
