Why does Punta Dolores limit its wedding booking calendar from April to September only?

You might be surprised to find out that it is exactly the same reason why Siargao is a tropical paradise full of lush vegetation!

Siargao is in an area of the Philippines calssified as a Type 2 Climate Zone due to the fact that it rains quite a lot for half the year.

To give you the best possible wedding experience on Siargao, we only accept bookings from April to September. These months offer better weather not just for your celebration, but for your entire stay - making island hopping, surfing, and exploring the island easier and more enjoyable for you and your guests.

What You’ll Do
– Help run weddings + events from setup to ex*****on
– Coordinate suppliers, timelines, and client communications
– Assist with event packages & marketing ideas
– Curate photos + support social media content
– Manage bookings, inquiries, and basic admin using QuickBooks

Who We’re Looking For
– Fluent in English, Tagalog, Bisaya
– Strong communication & organizational skills
– Comfortable with Microsoft Office + Canva
– Creative eye for photos/content
– Physically fit for beach setup days
– Has a driver’s license (car/motor)

Workstyle & Schedule
Full-time role with weekday coordination + flexible hours.
Event days require full engagement.

Housing & Compensation
– 2 months FREE housing in a furnished private space (utilities included)
– Option to stay long-term at a subsidized rate

Punta Dolores Homestead Corporation is looking for a committed, organized, and creative Operations & Events Manager to support our weddings, events, and venue operations.

This is a full-time role ideal for someone who values both operational excellence and creative work.

What You’ll Do

• Take a hands-on role in wedding and event coordination, from setup to ex*****on.
• Support event planning, supplier coordination, timelines, and client communication.
• Develop and propose event packages (birthdays, bachelorettes, hen parties, private gatherings).
• Curate photos and assist with social media content creation aligned with our brand voice.
• Manage bookings, calendars, and guest inquiries.
• Handle receipts, invoices, and expense entries using QuickBooks.
• Work on marketing ideas that grow bookings across events, accommodations, and venue rentals.

What We’re Looking For

• Fluent in English, Tagalog, and Bisaya
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Skilled in Microsoft Office, Canva, and comfortable learning new tools
• Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks responsibly

• Someone who enjoys teamwork, learning, and contributing to business growth
• Can lift 16kg-20kg unassisted
• Someone with a valid driver’s license for a car or scooter- has to be mobile

How We Work

This is a results-driven, full-time position.
• Daily coordination (Mon–Fri) is required for smooth operations.
• Flexible hours on regular days; full engagement on event days.
• Outside work that conflicts with schedule or performance is not compatible with this role.

Housing & Relocation Support

To make your move to Siargao smoother:

• Enjoy 2 months of free housing in a fully furnished private living space in Dapa
• Electricity, water, and laundry service included during the settling-in period
• Option to continue living there at a subsidized rate after the initial two months

• Starting Salary: ₱30,000/month

• Salary Review: After 4 months, based on performance and alignment

• Flexible work schedule (except event days and required coordination hours)
