What happens when you put trail runners, volunteers, organizers, and a whole lot of post-race emotions in one beach for an entire day? You get a celebration that is equal parts gratitude, laughter, recovery, and just the right amount of beautiful chaos. 😄

Our Dalaguete Crazified Trailfest 2026 Victory Party at Pink Private Beach was not just a gathering—it was a full day of fun, games, food, stories, and the kind of bonding that only happens after months of preparation, race-day pressure, and conquering the mountains together. From sunrise to sunset, it was all about being present, being thankful, and simply enjoying the moment.

This victory party was never just about the success of the event. It was about the people behind it. The crew who showed up early and stayed late. The volunteers who gave their time, strength, and heart. The quiet heroes who made sure every runner was safe, every station was ready, and every challenge was met with a smile.

To everyone who sacrificed sleep, endured stress, and poured passion into this race—this celebration was for you. Thank you for believing in the vision, for trusting the process, and for making Dalaguete Crazified Trailfest what it is today. You are the true champions.

A special and heartfelt appreciation to our in-house team, Crazy Runners Cebu, who flawlessly manned the Jolomaynon station under the leadership of Shantal and Jan. Your dedication, teamwork, and energy truly embodied the spirit of service and community that this event stands for.

And of course, a massive shoutout to the amazing teams who came, celebrated, and brought their incredible energy with them:

🔥 Cantipla Trail Runners headed by RD Dave
🔥 Crazy Mountain GORZ led by Boss Edlap, Boss McBern, and TRD Motet
🔥 Pretty Hikers powered by Rich and Anya
🔥 Team Sigbinayot led by Ma’am Fay

Your support, enthusiasm, and friendship mean more to us than words can express. We laughed, we ate, we shared stories, and we created memories that will last far beyond the finish line.

Here’s to stronger trails, deeper friendships, bigger dreams, and many more crazified adventures ahead. The mountains are already calling… and we are more than ready to answer.

Behind every great race is a team that refuses to be ordinary. And behind the success of the Dalaguete Crazified Trailfest, is a group of individuals I can only describe as superhuman.

First, to John Aquino, our Technical Race Director — the mastermind behind the trail. From conception to reconnaissance, from plotting elevation profiles to strategizing every turn, exit, and aid station — John engineered an experience, not just a route. This man can memorize sitios, barangays, and even the smallest eskinas of Dalaguete better than the locals themselves. The precision, the foresight, the grit — “job well done” is an understatement. Hats off, bro.

To Jet Acido, our external communications lead, marketing force, and the voice behind the microphone — your relentless drive in promoting the race was nothing short of remarkable. The clarity of messaging, the detail in ex*****on, the firm commitment to making the event seamless from start to finish — you carried the energy of the race long before gun start. Your professionalism elevated everything.

To my ever-loyal hitman, Yoyo Geojfy Lacion — the muscle, the engine, the endurance of this team. He drives, builds, fixes, surveys — anytime, anywhere. I rarely see this man tired. And even when exhaustion should’ve kicked in, enthusiasm took over. He pulls everyone up — especially me when the weight gets heavy. This guy is beyond awesome. A beast with a warrior’s heart.

To Cathleen Cuyno, our finance queen — the guardian of our numbers. Every peso tracked. Every procurement organized. Every budget allocated with discipline and foresight. In the chaos of race week, you brought structure. In the pressure of operations, you brought control. A true wizard in accounting and financial stewardship.

To Orville Langga, our design master since Opeak Crazified and the man behind LNGGA Athletics — you ensured every visual carried class, consistency, and impact. From race kits to social media materials, everything was aligned and intentional. You don’t just design — you build identity.

To Enya Yap, our ex*****on driver — making sure deliverables were pushed, deadlines were met, and follow-ups were never forgotten. Even in high-stress moments, you carried a smile that steadied the team. Operational excellence with grace — that’s rare.

To Anne Agosto, our standby medic — trained for rescue operations and always ready at the finish line. When runners needed attention, you were there. Calm. Prepared. Reliable. And beyond your medical role, you were always willing to step in wherever help was needed. That kind of heart cannot be taught.

And to Ankol Jayson, our dependable muscle on the ground — ensuring nothing slipped through the cracks in race operations. Silent strength. Consistent presence. The kind of reliability that keeps everything moving when it matters most.

To these individuals — they moved like clockwork. A living testament that no man is an island. Each one gave their all — physically, mentally, emotionally — to ensure we elevated beyond the usual and delivered something truly meaningful.

Leadership is often visible. But greatness is always collective.

I owe this to them. And for that, I am deeply grateful and truly honored to lead such an exceptional, talented, and committed team.

“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” 🙏

And we are going far.

With respect and gratitude,
Your humble servant,
RD Bryan – The Punisher

A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Photographers

Behind every powerful race photo is someone who chose to wake up early, climb the trails, wait under the heat, and capture moments that runners will treasure for years.

To our amazing photographers —

Some of you were officially part of the team.
Some of you simply showed up — like a blessing — and chose to capture the beauty of the day. For that, we are truly grateful.

From the quiet starting line jitters before sunrise,
to the first light touching the mountains…
From muddy climbs and rocky descents,
to the raw emotion at the finish line — relief, tears, pride, and joy.

Because of you, these are not just memories.
They are stories we can relive again and again.

You didn’t just take photos — you helped everyone truly Experience Dalaguete.

Thank you for your heart, your time, and your talent.

Dalaguete Crazified Trailfest 2026 — Where Mountains, People, and Purpose Converged

Before the banners, before the checkpoints, before the gunstart—there were only ridgelines, quiet trails, and a vision that lived in our minds and hearts.

We imagined runners tracing the spine of Dalaguete’s mountains at dawn, breathing in mist and sweat, discovering not just terrain but meaning. What began as an inaugural dream, an audacious idea born from love for the mountains, has now become a defining chapter in our lives and in the growing story of Philippine trail running.

From conception to ex*****on, this race demanded everything. Endless planning sessions, countless trail recons, route creation, risk mapping, and coordination meetings. We walked every kilometer with intention, imagining the footsteps of runners who would soon follow. And when race day finally came—when the gun went off and the mountains came alive with 685 runners (far beyond what we ever expected)—it was a moment that words can barely contain.

Standing at the starting line, and later watching runners emerge at the finish line—mud-streaked, emotional, victorious—made every sacrifice worth it. All the hard work paid off. 🙏

This race was built during moments of personal struggle, sleepless nights, and immense pressure—but it was the love for trail running that carried us forward. The sport teaches humility, endurance, and respect for nature—and those values shaped every decision we made.

Our deepest gratitude goes to the Municipality of Dalaguete.

To Mayor Nelin Belciña-Tambis, thank you for believing in this vision and granting every request that made this possible.
To Municipal Chief of Staff Jan Dwight Hernaez and Dalaguete Tourism Chief Mark Rajah Navarette, your leadership and support turned planning into reality.
To Tourism Focal Point Ms. Ann Margret Escobido, thank you for tirelessly liaising with LGU resources and ensuring nothing was left undone.

To all the Barangay Captains, sponsors, and volunteers—your generosity and trust carried this event. And to the good people of Dalaguete—your dedication, stewardship of the mountains, and love for nature inspired us to elevate this event and proudly put Dalaguete on the map of the trail running community.

To my superhuman race team—you moved like clockwork. You solved problems before they became problems. You carried the weight when it was heavy. You are the backbone of this race. This is for you. 🤗🥂💯

This weekend was a storm of emotions. Joy. Pride. Exhaustion. Reflection. It was perhaps the longest, most memorable, sleep-deprived 48 hours of my life. The biggest event I have ever managed—and one of the most emotionally difficult, after the tragic loss of one of our own.

We honor Stephen Deniega, our 30km runner who later passed away in the hospital due to Acute Myocardial Infarction. Stephen, you were part of this story, part of this mountain, part of this community.
Run freely, brother.

This race reminded us of something profound: health is everything. We must do our due diligence, listen to our bodies, and respect the limits that keep us alive to run another day.

I return to my personal mantra: “Memento Mori” — remember that you must die. Not to instill fear, but to ignite purpose. To live fully. To love deeply. To learn endlessly. To make every stride count.

This success belongs to everyone—the runners, the volunteers, the LGU, the sponsors, and the race team who gave their all.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for trusting this vision, for running with us, and for making Dalaguete Crazified Trailfest 2026 unforgettable.

Your humble servant,
RD Bryan — The Punisher

Dalaguete Crazified Trailfest

Sharing a reflection from Father Marie Etienne Pere.

For every runner, each race becomes a story.

This reflection reminds us why we created this event — not just to race, but to truly Experience Dalaguete.

From the rocky slopes of Mantalongon to the vegetable farms, terraces, forests, mud, heat, and fog — every terrain added its own chapter. The quiet of the early morning. The birds breaking the silence. Moments that no medal can replace.

There were moments of strength and doubt. Missed markings, near falls, cramps, fueling mistakes — and even the kindness of a farmer who helped guide the way back to the trail.

This is why trail running is more than a race.
It’s more than numbers or podiums.
It’s a story.

From the champion to the last finisher — and even those who did not finish — each one carries a Dalaguete story.

We quietly remember Stephen Deniega, who once shared these trails with us.

To RD Bryan Angulo, TRD John Aquino, our team, volunteers, partners, photographers, and the Municipality of Dalaguete — thank you for making this possible.

To everyone who chose to Experience Dalaguete — your story is now part of ours.

God bless you all.
