The Total Outreach for Community Health, from CIM, will be having an event this week solely for Persons with Disabilities. Our funds will go to Philippine Accessible Disability Services, Inc to provide them a PWD- friendly mask, which is very hard to come by these days. I hope you can support us by also sharing the posts that we will be sharing for the whole week! More details tomorrow!

Many of us associate Christmas with hearing Jose Mari Chan songs playing on repeat or blinking lights and colorful ornaments everywhere we go, but there are some of us who celebrate this season without hearing Christmas carols or seeing lanterns on the street: Does that mean we celebrate a different Christmas?

Beyond the catchy songs or flashing lights, this season is about unity, warmth, and selflessness. Values which can only be shared by transcending existing barriers and working towards a more inclusive society.

This Christmas season, join us in working towards that goal as we launch One CIM: PADS-Mask-O! 🎄

One of our missions at is to create an even more inclusive Metro Cebu, and that means each of us has a part to do.

How can you help? Slow down, pick up a pen and paper, or open up your Messaging app or Note, and write down or type what you want to say. Better yet, learn the basics of the Sign Language because every little bit that you do goes a long way. 🥰

Open up YouTube and look for how to finger spell the alphabet, teach your kids, teach your friends, because you never know when that skill can make someone else smile. Let's not forget the real reason for this season. This Christmas season, let us continue to spread kindness and love. Our friends with disabilities deserve to be treated with the same love, care, patience, and understanding that you would give to everyone else. 🧡
