๐‡๐ˆ๐†๐‡๐‹๐ˆ๐†๐‡๐“๐’ || Accentuating the same skill set as their Filipino counterpart, the Oral Composition & Presentation of this year's RFOT under Read-A-Thon English recently concluded at the Samar College Auditorium today.

This event observed the same guidelines and target participants as the Sulat-Bigkas ng Talumpati, which was being conducted concurrently.

While applying techniques on persuasion as well as other verbal and non-verbal communication strategies, participants must also be mindful that the the central message of their composition should revolve around family values and how diversity brings them together.

Announcement of winners as well as the awarding of certificates and recognitions for all participants in this event will be held tomorrow during the final day of the event celebration, April 29, 2024, at the Samar State University Gymnasium.

๐‡๐ˆ๐†๐‡๐‹๐ˆ๐†๐‡๐“๐’ || Exposing both their literary and oratorical excellence, grade 10 competitors for the Sulat-Bigkas ng Talumpati embodied their scribe and rhetorician persona earlier today at the Samar College Aditorium.

As per instruction of the organizers, the participants were given 50 minutes for their composition of a 5-minute speech based on the given theme which was "Epekto ng Artificial Intelligence sa Edukasyon," another 5 minutes was given to them to prepare for their presentation.

Proclamation of winners as well as the awarding of certificates and recognitions for all participants in this event will be held tomorrow during the final day of the event celebration, April 29, 2024, at the Samar State University Gymnasium.

๐‡๐ˆ๐†๐‡๐‹๐ˆ๐†๐‡๐“๐’ || With their piece at hand and voice at the ready, each of the thirteen grade 3 challengers for Muling Pagkukuwento and thirteen grade 6 for Interpretatibong Pagbabasa have set their sights on the winning prize at the Samar College Auditorium today.

At the onset of the contest, all of the grade 3 competitors were given the exact same piece to practice and deliver, the same is also true for all the grade 6 aspirants.

Meanwhile, a total of 30 minutes practice and preparation time were given to the primary student particpants, while a total of 20 minutes were given to the intermediate level pupils for the same purpose prior to their 5-minute presentation.

The Muling Pagkukuwento at Interpretatibong Pagbabasa is a contest open to grades 3 and 6 under the Read-A-Thon for Filipino, one of eight categories in the 2024 RFOT.

Awards and recognitions for all winners and participants in this event will be announced during the final day of the event celebration, April 29, 2024, at the Samar State University Gymnasium.

๐‡๐ˆ๐†๐‡๐‹๐ˆ๐†๐‡๐“๐’ || Following the same competition standards as their Filipino counterpart, the 2024 RFOT - Story Retelling, Oral & Reading Interpretation under the Read-A-Thon for English category exhibited thirteen talented primary and thirteen intermediate contestants at the Samar College Auditorium today.

As with the Filipino counterpart, the pupils went through three different breakout rooms representing each phase of the competition.

The said contests seek to evaluate the contenders' skill and fluency in speaking and expressing ideas as well as their reading strategies in accomplishing theme-based tasks.
