𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 || Exhibiting their talents in crafting original plays, learners from various divisions contended in the Sulatanghal, an on-the-spot playwriting contest, as part of the 2024 Regional Festival of Talents (RFOT) held at Samar National School, Catbalogan City on April 28.

The crafting of one-act stage plays challenges the participants to infuse their literary works with a unique blend of traditional and digital styles, using their creativity and imagination.

The student-writers from thirteen divisions were given a four-hour time frame to finish their compositions in English or Filipino, revolving around the theme "Matatag na Samahan."

Sulatanghal is a competition under the Sining Tanghalan category that includes the secondary level from schools divisions all over the region.

𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 || Young singers from across Region VIII filled the Samar National School Social Hall in Catbalogon City with their resonating voices, as they united to compete in the 2024 Regional Festival of Talents - Himig Bulilit, under the Sining Tanghalan category, on April 27. This is jointly hosted by the city government and the DepEd Schools Division.

The pupil-artists, with four members in each team, performed two song pieces in an a ca****la style before the audience and judges at the event.

Himig Bulilit is a competition that includes the elementary level from 13 divisions under Sining Tanghalan, one of the eight categories in the Eastern Visayas Regional Festival of Talents jointly hosted by the city government and the DepEd Schools Division this year.

Awarding and recognitions for all winners and participants in this event will be announced during the Closing Program on April 29, 2024 at the Samar State University Gymnasium.

𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 || Student-artists from all over Region VIII congregated at the Spark Samar Park, Catbalogan City, on April 27, 2024, to showcase their creative prowess in Pintahusay - one of the competitions under the Sining Tanghalan category of the 2024 Regional Festival of Talents.

Pintahusay is a competition that is open to secondary level students, and the participants displayed their artistic expressions as they paint the landscape of the venue's landmark design, the official logo Spark Samar Tourism campaign.

RFOT 2024 is co-hosted by the City Government of Catbalogan and DepEd Schools Division of Catbalogan City.

Awarding and recognitions for all winners and participants in this event will be announced during the final day of the event celebration, April 29, 2024 at the Samar State University Gymnasium.
