A pride of Laoang and Northern Samar, he is a multi-awarded Filipino filmmaker, screenwriter, producer, director, and composer who now serves as the Creative Director of GMA Network's Drama Group and co-runs Digital Dreams, Inc.

Also a proud Nortehanon, he is a an award-winning Filipino writer, screenwriter, editor, and cultural worker whose work spans from literature, film, to television. He was former Commissioner of Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino representing Samar-Leyte languages.
