This Maundy Thursday service requires us to remember a love that expresses itself through humble and graceful service to others. As reflected in Luke 22:19, it is a time to look inward and appreciate the meaning of selfless giving and quiet sacrifice.

We should let this day teach us to treat others with kindness and compassion and understanding. The basic acts of sharing and caring that we perform today keep alive the message of love that this day represents.
