DAR Caraga, successfully distributed Certificates of Land Ownership Award (CLOAs), individual electronic land titles under Project SPLIT, and Certificates of Condonation with Release of Mortgage (COCROMs) to thousands of agrarian reform beneficiaries in Tandag City, Surigao del Sur.
A total of 4,715 farmer-beneficiaries received land titles covering more than 10,600 hectares of agricultural land, while over โฑ423 million worth of agrarian debts were condoned under the New Agrarian Emancipation Act, providing much-needed relief to 6,179 beneficiaries across the region.
To further support agricultural development, DAR also turned over a โฑ1.5-million combine harvester to the Tagasaka Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Cooperative, reinforcing the Departmentโs commitment to improving farm productivity and advancing sustainable rural development.
Representing Secretary Conrado M. Estrella III, Undersecretaries Atty. Kazel C. Celeste and Josef Angelo S. Martires, CESO II, led this momentous activity alongside Caraga Regional Director Atty. Merlita S. Capinpuyan.
