He is Ronald Gadayan, a Maintenance Crew member at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) since 2012. A proud Antiqueño from the Gadayan Clan of Brgy. San Pedro, San Jose, Antique, Ronald has become a symbol of integrity and selflessness. Despite criticisms and temptations, he has consistently returned valuables left behind by passengers, amounting to a total of ₱3,147,500 over the years.

Highlights of Ronald’s Honesty:

₱2.4 million in cash and jewelry returned to a Cebu businessman.

$5,000 cash returned to an OFW.

₱80,000 from four wallets returned to their owners.

₱17,000 cash found in a restroom.

Various gadgets, including 7 cellphones worth ₱150,000 and a box of jewelry worth ₱100,000.

Ronald’s honesty has earned him numerous awards, but he remains a janitor to this day.

Ronald’s story reminds us that integrity is priceless. May his example inspire others to uplift those who embody true heroism.
