The Philippine Science High School System (PSHSS), in partnership with the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (PCAARRD), successfully conducted the Technology Commercialization Training โ€“ Technology Transfer Phase 2 from February 16โ€“21 & 23-27, 2026, at the DAP Conference Center, Tagaytay City, Cavite.

This intensive 11 day program provided researchers, technology licensing officers, and educators/business managers across 9 PSHS campuses with comprehensive training on commercialization pathwaysโ€”from feasibility study preparation, market and customer segmentation, and business planning, to pre-commercialization regulatory requirements, licensing strategies, technology valuation (cost, market, and income methods), and communication planning.
Through expert-led sessions and interactive workshops facilitated by distinguished practitioners from government, academia, and industry, participants deepened their understanding of transforming research outputs into viable, market-ready technologies.

The training forms part of the project, โ€œTranslating Innovations into Commercialization: Strengthening Technology Transfer in the PSHS โ€“ Phase 2,โ€ reinforcing the PSHSS commitment to building a strong and sustainable technology transfer ecosystem.

The program culminated in a Graduation Ceremony, celebrating the participantsโ€™ dedication, collaboration, and shared mission to move innovations beyond the laboratory and into meaningful societal impact.
