May 14,2026| Safe Motherhood Week 2026” with the theme “Kalidad na pangangalaga sa Ina, kalusugan ng sanggol may garantiya” was successfully conducted today at the Barangay Lambingi Gym, participated in by neighboring barangays including Lampari, Derilon, Lam-apos, and Lamba. Pregnant women and mothers from Derilon actively joined the activity, which offered free prenatal check-ups, dental services, VIA screening, health counseling, family planning services, vitamins, fun contests, prizes, free snacks, and lunch.
The event was facilitated by the dedicated midwives from the different Barangay Health Stations in partnership with the DOH, MHO and MDRRMC. The barangay also extended its full support by providing free transportation for participants, together with the assistance of Kgd. Arlene Gumban-Travilla and Kgd. Lo**ta Lorenzana. This activity highlighted the importance of quality maternal care and promoting healthier communities for mothers and children.

May 13,2026| “A strong step toward empowered and active youth! 💙✨ The youth of Barangay Derilon officially joined the organization of Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) at the covered court of Banga Municipal Hall. This meaningful activity was joined and supported by Kgd. Arlene Gumban-Travilla and Kgd. Lo**ta Lorenzana, who gave their moral support to the youth.
The barangay also recognizes and appreciates the dedication and efforts of youth volunteer Kyla Rose Hari-on and SK Chairman Kent Derilon for their commitment and leadership in guiding the youth toward positive involvement and community service. Together, let’s continue empowering the young generation for a brighter future! 🙌🌟”
