To our dear runners, partners, volunteers, and the entire ultrarunning community,

For the past 10 years, this race has become more than just an ultramarathon. It became a journey of passion, perseverance, friendship, and unforgettable memories carved across the mountains of the Cordilleras.

From humble beginnings to becoming one of the country’s most recognized mountain ultramarathons, every story shared through the years has helped shape this event into what it is today.

As we celebrate a decade of mountain terraces running history, we are proud to officially announce the rebranding of our iconic race:

A1 Philippines: Cordillera Mountain Terraces 100

Formerly known as Altra 100 Philippines, this new identity marks the beginning of another exciting chapter while honoring the legacy we have built together over the last 10 years.

Though the name changes, the spirit of the race remains untouched:
✔️ the legendary Cordillera trails
✔️ the breathtaking mountain terraces
✔️ the deep connection with local communities
✔️ and the relentless challenge that every ultrarunner seeks

The name A1 Philippines represents excellence, resilience, and our commitment to continue elevating the ultrarunning experience for years to come.

To every runner who runs and climbs these mountains and terraces with us, every volunteer who stood in the cold nights, every partner and local community who opened their homes and hearts — thank you for being part of this incredible decade-long journey.

This is not the end of a legacy.
This is the evolution of it.

OUR GRATITUDE RUNS DEEP – ALTRA 50 BICOL 2.0

While chapters may close, the spirit of the trail continues. We’ve seen first finishes, breakthrough moments, and lifelong friendships formed on these trails in Bicol, but this race marks the end of a remarkable era.

ALTRA 50 BICOL 2.0 became a meaningful milestone in our journey. This event carried not only the spirit of competition but also the weight of gratitude, memories, and legacy.

To all our runners in Bicol:
You gave life to this final chapter. Every moment echoed across the trails of Mount Iriga. You became part of history.

To our volunteers and marshals:
Your dedication behind the scenes made everything possible. From start to finish, your commitment ensured the safety, energy, and success of this event. You are the backbone of every unforgettable race experience.

To our partner LGUs and local communities:
Maraming salamat for your unwavering support and trust. Your openness and hospitality enabled us to bring this race to life and showcase Bicol's beauty to the trail-running community.

From all the kilometers we’ve shared, to all the lives we’ve touched, THANK YOU for being part of the Altra journey.

The road ahead may bring new beginnings, but this legacy will always remain.

QUEEN OF THE TRAIL

All the way from Albay Trail Maniacs, Andrea De Pano rises to the top as the Female Champion of the 50KM category at ALTRA 50 BICOL 2.0

Through relentless climbs, unforgiving heat, and the raw beauty of Mt. Iriga, she showed what true grit, discipline, and heart look like on the trail. Every stride carried strength. Every step told a story of determination.

The crown stays with the Albay Trail Maniacs.

Once again, Evan Earl Aguirre, who also an Atlas Endurance Philippines athlete proves that consistency, grit, and heart define a true champion as he claims victory at ALTRA 50 BICOL 2.0

Representing the powerhouse squad Albay Trail Maniacs, Evan Earl delivered another masterclass performance on the demanding trails around Mt. Iriga, showing everyone what it takes to stay on top.
