In line with the celebration of Iwang ad Batad 2026 with the theme, “Restoring our Heritage, Honoring our Lineage: Rooted in Culture and Tradition,” the Quezon City Health Unit successfully conducted a Medical and Dental Mission at the Batad Elementary School Grounds. The outreach brought free healthcare and dental services to the community, reflecting the spirit of compassion, unity, and service while celebrating the rich culture and traditions of Batad.

A heartfelt thank you to Kiwanis International – Rice Granary, Nueva Ecija for bringing joy, hope, and support to the elementary children of Batad through their Outreach Program today, initiated by our previous 2025 Keynote Speaker, Reynaldo Ferrer Diocton IV. This meaningful activity reflects the true spirit of compassion, unity, and service to the community, especially for the young learners who are the future of our heritage and culture.

School supplies for teachers, and vest for Barangay Tanod were turned over as well.

We are also excited to announce that another Outreach Program for the children will be conducted on May 30 at 8:00 AM. Together, let us continue spreading kindness and making a positive difference in the lives of our Batad kids.

The Trek for a Cause officially began today, May 29, as part of Day 01 of the celebration, bringing together participants, guests, volunteers, and local tour guides for a meaningful trek in support of our hardworking farmers — the true beneficiaries of this cause. Today’s activities highlighted unity, community spirit, and appreciation for the people who continue to nurture our Rice Terraces and preserve our heritage. We warmly invite everyone to continue the adventure and join us again on Sunday, May 31, for Day 02 of the trek. We warmly invite everyone to join the opening day celebration of Iwang Ad Batad 2026 — a meaningful gathering that celebrates the rich culture, traditions, and unity of the people of Batad. The festivities will begin with the ribbon-cutting and ritual ceremony for the Tupag-Manabhung trail and viewpoint, followed by community activities, cultural presentations, and special programs that showcase the beauty and heritage of our beloved place.

Come and be part of this exciting and memorable celebration as we welcome guests, families, and visitors from near and far. Let us celebrate together through culture, friendship, and community spirit as we officially open Iwang Ad Batad 2026 on May 29(Friday).
