The 2018 Chilli Festival is fast approaching (September 2, 2018 at the Whitespace Manila), and we are already in the works for the HOT SAUCE COMPETITION deets! With that, we are calling all makers and enthusiasts who wish to participate in the said competition to read on to know the different categories, and to have ample time to work on their secret recipe sauces!

HOT SAUCE COMPETITION CATEGORIES:
• Hot Sauce - Mild (ex. Taiwan F1, Jalapeno, Labuyo etc.. )
• Hot Sauce - Medium (ex: Habaneros, Scotch Bonnet etc.. )
• Hot Sauce - Hot (ex: Ghost peppers, Marusot etc.. )
• Hot Sauce - Extra Hot (ex: TMS, Jigsaw, Reaper etc.. )
• Hot Sauce - Native Labuyo (Pure Native Labuyo Hot Sauce)
• Hot Sauce - Fruit Hot Sauce (ex: Mango Habanero hot sauce)
• Specialty Hot Sauce - "Pinoy Hot Sauce" (ex: Adobo Hot Sauce)
• Chilli Garlic - Mild to Medium
• Chilli Garlic - Hot to Extra Hot
• Oil Based Sauce - (ex: chilli ginger, XO sauce, sambal, bagoong)
• Spicy Oil/ Oil Drops (ex: chili oil drops)
• Spiced Vinegar (ex: sinamak, pinakurat)
• Barbecue Sauce, Steak Sauce & Catsups - (ex: spicy bbq sauce, chili ketchup etc.. )
• Salsa (Fresh or Cooked are accepted)
• Fiery & Sweet - (ex: jams, marmalade, spiked syrups)
• Dips & Spreads (ex: hot garlic spread, hot ranch dip, chili mayo)
• Dry Seasoning (ex: fried chilli garlic, chili rubs)
• Hot Pickles - (ex: pickled habanero, spicy papaya atsara)
