From the traje de mestiza silhouette to the handcrafted piña, every detail honors the women who shaped our history.🇵🇭

The skirt, built from more than 65,000 individual petals, brings together the stories of our greatest festivals — the giant lanterns of Pampanga, the colors of Pahiyas, and the blooms of Panagbenga. It is a tapestry of artistry that reflects the joy and creativity of our people.

Today, Ahtisa becomes the festival of the Philippines. Let’s unite and push for a historic 3-peat Best National Costume win.

Today, Atty. Mauricio Domogan was honored as the recipient of the PANAGBENGA LEGACY AND ICON OF PEACE AWARD at the ASIA-PACIFIC & AFRICA PEACE CONFERENCE 2025 held at Hotel Supreme, Baguio City.

The event, organized by the International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA), featured the IAWPA Global Peace Awards 2025, which recognize outstanding individuals and organizations dedicated to peace-building efforts and the promotion of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Our heartfelt thanks to H.E. Bishop Dr. Maxwell A. Hagan, International Eminent Peace Ambassador and Country Director of IAWPA Philippines, for personally presenting this meaningful award.

Atty. Domogan humbly shares this recognition with every individual who has been part of the Panagbenga journey - The Panagbenga legacy is not just one person’s story, but the story of each and everyone who contributed to building and growing this beloved festival. This award belongs to all of us.
