THE JOURNEY OF A YOUNG WARRIOR! βοΈ
May 1st, 2026, marked the culmination of our first-ever AYSAC Arnis Summer Clinic. We were joined by 41 children, all eager to master the sticks and the spirit of this Filipino martial art. πβ¨
The journey was rigorous. We watched these kids progress from the foundational grit of calisthenics and conditioning to the graceful precision of Anyo. They capped off their training by applying everything they learned in Labanan, showing true bravery in the mat. The weeks leading up to this were not without challenges, but the eagerness of the kids, the dedication of our trainers, and the unwavering support of the parents turned those challenges into a resounding success. We even had students join a novice level Arnis competition! While some brought home medals, every single one of them won valuable lessons in courage and sportsmanship. π
We are honored to be part of these childrenβs growth, not just as athletes but as individuals. Beyond the strikes and trainings, it is our hope that they carry home the values of respect, discipline, and a lifelong passion for Arnis. Most importantly, we hope they built friendships that will last as long as the lessons they learned.
To our young warriors: the clinic may have ended, but your journey in Arnis has just begun. Keep practicing, stay disciplined, and always carry the heart of a warrior in everything you do. π
Thank you to the parents and trainers for being the backbone of this program. Together, we aren't just teaching a sport; we are building a stronger, more disciplined generation. Pugay! π
A special thank you goes to our junior practitioners. Your assistance in training the younger students was invaluable. By sharing your skills, you didn't just help them learn, you showed them what leadership and brotherhood in Arnis truly look like. π₯°
41 kids, hundreds of strikes, and countless smiles laterβwe couldn't be prouder! Congratulations to our first batch of AYSAC Arnis Summer Clinic graduates! πππ
