The Menzies College 55th Reunion recently held their final meeting. After all the accounts have been paid the 55th Reunion showed a profit of $4705.85. We appreciate the help of Fonterra for donating the cheese, Vetco for the use of tables and chairs, Robinson and Cameron families for the use of their marques, Four Square and Three Rivers Hotel for their support in discounting goods. I am sure all attendee’s where impressed with the way Menzies College has progressed over the years and the tidy appearance of the grounds and buildings.
The Menzies College Association was formed to run the 25th Reunion. This is the identity that that the bank account has been open under. At our last meeting it was decided wound up the Association and to close the account. Funds that where left after the $25th reunion had grown to $12932.68 over the last 30 years. In the Association constitution when the Association is being wound up funds are to be donated to the Menzies College BOT. We are sure that the BOT will use the $17638.53 that is being donated for something that will have a long lasting purpose.
The Menzies Milestones 2 book is available to purchase at the school office for those who would like a copy.
