Ngā Manga Pūriri was proud to attend and support the Whangārei Electrify Aotearoa warm-up event held at The Orchard Business & Event Hub, alongside Tai Tokerau Startups, Empower Her and Whāriki Te Tai Tokerau.

Representing Ngā Manga Pūriri on the day were Olivia Kelly, Rawinia Marino and Te Hiwi Preston, attending in connection with our ongoing mahi alongside Rerengātahi to support innovation, entrepreneurship and opportunities for our people and promote the work Olivia is doing with a small cohort of marae across Te Tai Tokerau.

The room was filled with meaningful conversations and new connections during the networking session facilitated by Emma from the Empower Her Network, highlighting the strength and potential of our growing startup and business community in the north.

Talia from Whāriki Te Tai Tokerau and Meg, Business, Innovation & Growth Team Lead, also shared insights into the support available for wāhine founders and emerging businesses across the region.
