We are excited to have NGons joining us at the market Relove Recycle Kids Market June 2026 with their amazing creative building sets, designed for kids and adults who love to build, create and use their imagination.

Sophia’s Vanuatu Fundraiser

Come and support Sophia’s stall at our market as she fundraises for an exciting educational trip to Vanuatu.

Sophia is a Year 8 student at Kamo Intermediate, and this trip will give her and her classmates the chance to experience another country, learn how schools operate in Vanuatu, and take part in some amazing activities along the way, including sightseeing and swimming with turtles.

This is a wonderful opportunity for Sophia to learn, explore, grow in confidence, and create memories she will never forget.

Make sure you stop by her stall at the market and show your support. Every purchase helps Sophia get one step closer to Vanuatu.

Have you visited Kiwi North yet?

Just up the road from our market, Kiwi North is one of Whangarei’s special places to explore, discover and enjoy with the whole family.

Home to Northland’s only nocturnal Kiwi House, Kiwi North gives visitors the chance to learn about our iconic kiwi and observe their natural behaviour in a purpose-built environment where day is turned into night. Watch the kiwi foraging for live food, exploring their enclosure and interacting just as they would in the wild.

You can also meet some of their special native species, including beautiful native New Zealand geckos and fascinating invertebrates, cleverly camouflaged within their environments.

And there is even more to discover at Whangarei’s Museum, where local stories come to life through early settler history, beautiful taonga Maori and natural history displays.

Pack a picnic, explore the grounds, visit the museum, and make a day of it. Ice creams, cold drinks and packaged snacks are also available from visitor reception.

We are so excited to have the wonderful Kat from Woodland & Whimsy joining us again at our upcoming Relove Recycle Kids Market 🎨💛 Relove Recycle Kids Market June 2026

Kat has been part of multiple markets with us, and every single time her beautiful face painting is an absolute hit with the kids. Families genuinely love what she brings to the day - colour, creativity, imagination, and so many smiles.

Her face painting is truly incredible. From magical butterflies and sparkling princess designs through to superheroes, animals, and fun colourful creations, Kat has such a creative eye and amazing talent for bringing children’s imaginations to life.

One of the things we love most is how kind and welcoming she is with the kids. You can always see excited little faces lining up at her stall, and children proudly showing off their amazing face paint around the market afterwards.

And did you know Kat also creates beautiful custom cake toppers? Her creativity goes far beyond face painting, and her work is absolutely stunning.

We are so thankful to have such talented local people supporting our market and helping create such a fun and magical atmosphere for local families.
