Due to an unexpected double booking at Forum North, WDF has been moved to the following weekend.

📅 NEW DATES: 26–28 June 2026

An important email has now been sent to all registered dancers and dance schools. Please check your emails (including junk mail) and respond ASAP, especially regarding availability and troupe scheduling.

With over 20 years of experience across performance, teaching, choreography, and studio ownership, Kate brings a wealth of knowledge and a strong technical eye to WDF.

A graduate of Te Auaha and UNITEC, she is passionate about providing encouraging, constructive feedback to help every dancer grow.

💫 We can’t wait to have Kate join us in Whangārei this June!

🏆✨ Calling All WDF Trophy Champions! ✨🏆

Did you take home a WDF trophy in 2025? It’s almost time for those beauties to make their return so they’re ready for our next group of winners at the Whangarei Dance Festival – June 19–21, 2026!

Before they come back to the stage, we need them safely returned.

📍 Drop them or post to:
WADPA, 29 Commerce Street, Whangarei

💡 Before you return them:
• Give them a little clean and shine
• Get them engraved
• Wrap them carefully so they travel safely
• Let us know which dancer/studio they belong to

Think of it as your trophy’s final curtain call before passing the spotlight to the next champion! 🌟

Thank you for helping us keep everything organised for another incredible WDF weekend. We can’t wait to celebrate our dancers again soon! 💙
