Join us this October in the stunning heritage city of Whanganui for an exciting line-up of events including an old time riverboat festival, our first ever heritage parade (horse-drawn, old-time bicycles and vintage cars) and brilliant antique fairs. This year our theme is early transport and with 42 events, there'll be something for heritage lover!

Stop Heritage Demolition - We need your help now!

The gorgeous heritage buildings at the former St Georges School, Whanganui are under threat from demolition. Whanganui District Council is considering demolition. The deadline to have your say is Sunday 15 June 5pm.
