🚤 Boat Ramp Channel Update
We've received an update from the dredging operator regarding the channel at the Wharf St boat ramp.
After launching, the most accessible route is currently to hug the wharf, staying inside the red line shown on the attached map, rather than travelling through the poles as previously directed over the last few months.
Please note this information has been passed on to us by the dredging operator. Conditions on the water can change, so it's always the responsibility of each skipper/boat operator to assess the conditions and navigate safely.
Stay safe out there, and thanks for helping spread the word!

The Whanganui Awa Safety User and Steering Group have released the attached statement and we ask that this behaviour please stops immediately for the benefit of everyone.
