Deep Grooves incoming 🪩🎹
We’re bloody excited to introduce our Australian headliners: Naarm’s Close Counters to the TB whānau.
For the first time in Aotearoa, Close Counters (LIVE) will be bringing their infectious blend of jazz, house, soul, disco and electronic music to the main stage on the Sat evening of TB.

The Naarm-based duo have been on an absolute whirlwind. Their 2025 debut album LOVERS DANCE ACADEMY climbed to #3 on the ARIA Jazz & Blues Album Chart. They have been on an endless summer run the last few years with back to back shows in both Aus and the UK. From Glastonbury, Love Supreme and Shindig Festival in the UK to iconic Aussie festivals, Meredith, Strawberry Fields and Falls Festival 🌈

The TB crowd are about to experience a band that seriously knows how to throw down a festival slot. This is going to be a jazz-fuelled dance floor with the kind of sounds that makes it very difficult to stand still.
CLOSE COUNTERS — live at Tora Bombora Ono. 🦞🪩

TB lovers 🌈🤙 🦞

That was some serious support from you all last week. The majority of tickets have already found their homes and we’re now down to 190 tickets remaining.

So, it feels like the right time to introduce our Kiwi headliner… Dallas Tamaira aka Joe Dukie — aka Joe Dukie of fatfreddysdropnz 🪊 Dallas is one of Aotearoa’s most recognisable singers. A voice of a generation. He’s a musician and producer whose frequency runs deep through soul, reggae, dub and jazz.

For TB, Dallas will be bringing songs from his Levels EP, alongside favourites from his musical journey, backed by some of Aotearoa’s best musicians in his live band.

Expect deep grooves, warm sounds and pure soul under the Tora skies.
We’re bloody stoked to have him.

190 tickets remain. 🦞
