Some of you will remember Marco Braakman from Holland whom loved attending Wheels at Wanaka and especially helping out with the Vintage Tractors.

Well he has invited me over to Austria.

Marco and I have entered the 24th Oldtimer Traktor WM (world championships) at Bruck Fusch. The championships take place on the Grossglockner which is the highest pass in Austria.

Marco has loaned me his fabulous 1987 Case International 1455XL.
He is driving his equally fabulous MB Track 1300.

Altogether a maximum of 450 tractors have lined up for the event which is very hard to get into so we are very lucky.

Today we have been competing in a sort of Tractor Olympics and tomorrow we tackle the Pass.

Crazy how New Zealand pops up in the most random places, this in the 4th of July celebrations parade in Cape Cod USA, and before you ask yes this fire appliance still goes 😉
