DIGITAL DRIVERS BRIEFING
Thank you for attending the 9th running of The Southland Indoor Championships. Please read the following housekeeping instructions for your safety prior to the official drivers briefing. Car parking is available for all competitors onsite. Should we need to evacuate the Wallacetown Community Centre, our gathering point is the grass verge of the carpark. Note emergency exits on your arrival, also, positions of fire extinguishers. Save your running for marshalling cars, there are many trip hazards. When free practice commences, please note the following etiquette:
No more than 10 cars on the track at one time. Making your way to the drivers stage please walk around the edge of the track, not across. If you require marshal assistance during practice, speak up loud to other drivers if you are blocking the track eg.“Car on the straight!”.
Update regarding the event information: Seeding runs for some classes were mentioned within the event page on NZRCA. This will now be, manual seeding, for the first 2 qualifiers, followed by a reseed for the last qualifier.
If you haven’t included a transponder number with your entry, you will need to make sure this is provided before the event starts.

SOUTHLAND INDOOR CHAMPS.

OFFICIAL NOTICE 2.

A route to make it to Wallacetown has been established.
It has been successfully achieved this evening.
We will confirm the route on our return to Invercargill.
The drive duration is approx 45min.

Saturday we face a decision.
Do we push the full program through on Saturday?
Do we return Sunday morning for Onroad finals?
This will be asked of you at drivers briefing.

The route is Hedgehope, Springhills, Ryal Bush.
A guided convoy will leave from Countdown, North Road, Waikiwi at 6:10am.

Assuming the more direct routes are still closed.
