We had a different work view last week when we were invited to the OceanaGold Macraes shutdown.

It was a fantastic day and great to see some ( not so ) old and new pie lovers.

With the questionable weather coming this afternoon, we have decided to pull the pin on tonight's food cart setup, its not going to be great to stand in the rain waiting for your tucker.

Apologies for the inconvenience.

Here is a nice read about Central Otago pies.

To have your Waipiata Pie Co. pies delivered to your door, head to www.waipiatapies.co.nz

I ask if there’s a good place to get a pie around here. The answer is far more detailed than I expected.

We at the Waipiata Pie Company thought that it was good timing to remind you that father's day is Sunday the 6th.

Now, it's a day or two late to get pies home delivered to Dad and not that there is anything wrong with picking up a box of half melted chocolates from the service station on the way to see dad on this momentous day, but we would like to present you with another option.

We think it is time to claim the favourite child status and head to www.waipiatapies.co.nz and purchase a voucher for Dad. Then Dad is able to purchase his favourite pie flavours online at his leisure, no pressure on you, and you are still the number one.

You can order right up to the very second that you are going to see or call Dad, the voucher will be emailed to you directly.

You can order your pies and vouchers at www.waipiatapies.co.nz
