As an Independent expo, Southland wedding expo aimed to support the entire southland wedding industry.
Unfortunately there was more interest from outside the region, and most locals wanted it to be run at no cost, which was not a possibility. Then along came co-vid.
It seems there are a few options now for expos in Southland, but unfortunately they are not industry wide, and not independent.
