👀 ANNOUNCEMENT | The Seaside Festival will be held from the 5th - 8th of February with a variety of FREE family friendly events to enjoy including:

- Movies on the Bay
- The World Famous (in Timaru) Kite Day
- The Great Beach Dig
- The Bay Fete
- Blues on the Bay
- Polo on the Beach

There is a couple of events still being worked on to be added so keep your eyes and ears peeled!

😭 CANCELLED | Sadly the weather is conspiring against us, and with it looking pretty wet on Friday between 5p - 8p we have made the decision to cancel this event.

We reckon go get your food fix from one of the many delicious restaurants in town and we will try again another day!

Join us as we head back to the 1950s at Rydell High, the story follows a summer romance between "greaser" Danny Zuko and Australian transfer student Sandy Olsson as they navigate high school cliques (the T-Birds and Pink Ladies).

Bring your picnic, dinner, low chairs and bean bags and dress up as your favourite T-Bird or Pink Lady!

Bring a picnic, dinner, low chairs and bean bags and enjoy an early movie on the bay!

HAPPY WAITANGI DAY | How good was the ‘Polo on the Beach’ yesterday afternoon!

There is so many amazing articles, comments and pictures about the day. Here is to making it an established event on the Timaru Events Calendar!!

Saturday is ‘Movies on the Bay’ and the weather is looking amazing for it. It gets underway with Shrek at 5pm and Grease at 7pm.

👀 PROGRAMME DROP | It might have been a bit wet and gloomy recently, but the Seaside Festival is set to heat things up!

Think outdoor movies, kite flying at the beach, family festivals, music in the park, beach digs, classic cars, inflatable fun and plenty of seaside fun for all ages.

From 5–15 February, the Seaside Festival is ON and the FULL programme drops on Monday ⏰
