Good evening Giant Pumpkin Growers. Weigh in day is upon us. Weigh in will start at 1pm tomorrow afternoon. The address for weigh in is 110 Jack Russel Drive. Look forward to seeing you all there.

We will be having a bit of a bbq and drinks after prizegiving so bring a coolie bag.

Good morning all. Are you ready for weigh in on Saturday? I hope your pumpkins are all in one peice by the time they arrive. We will have a bbq lunch for all to enjoy, followed by a few beers to celebrate a good season of growing Atlantic Giants.

Weigh in date is creeping up on us fast. We will have the weigh in during the month of April. I am thinking the weekend before easter. Does the 9th April work for everyone?

BBQ lunch will be provided. Will need to try and get an idea on numbers too.

All the entrants should be receiving one of these the next couple days. The idea is the germinate them and then transplant them into the ground on labour day and get these bad boys growing.

Do your research, there are a few tricks to getting these pumpkins MASSIVE. Get on google and YouTube or read “growing pumpkins for dummy’s” which ever floats your boat. There are no rules as to how you grow your pumpkin. Give it steroids if you want. Just make sure it’s GIANT.

Having holdups getting everyone’s seeds from the supplier. Have been in contact with them and theyre struggling to get orders out during COVID alert level 3. As soon as they arrive I’ll send the envelopes out to everybody.

Thankyou to all the Aucklanders that have been spreading COVID 19 and putting a halt on everything with the lockdown.
