🚀 Calling all young space explorers: With World Space Week (4–10 October) celebrating all things space, stars and exploration, we’ve got the perfect Festival adventure for curious young minds coming later this month...
Meet The Valentina – a live radio play... with pictures! 🚀
Eight-year-old Ellen is supposed to be asleep when the spaceship hanging from her bedroom ceiling suddenly comes to life. Before she knows it, she’s blasting into space alongside a rather extraordinary crew: Yuri Gagarin, Neil Armstrong, Laika the space dog and Valentina Tereshkova on an adventure to the alien planet Vitanonan X. 🌌
Created especially for young audiences, The Valentina combines live performance, storytelling, sound and imagination in a wonderfully different theatre experience for ages 8–12 and their grown-ups.
And with World Space Week upon us, we can’t think of a better excuse to start planning your own trip to the stars. ⭐
