2023 Taupo-nui-a-Tia Disc Golf Classic - NZDG North Island Championships!

It's a battle of the North Islanders in FPO. Defending champ and top seed Michele Simpson will be looking for her first major win of the season. But she'll have to battle some top names from all around the North Island to do it.
Defending North Island champ Hemi Te Awhitu will be looking to go back to back in MP40. Reigning Taupo-Nui-a-Tia champ, Joseph 'Fish' Seebeck will be part of a sharp field that will be looking to upset the seedings.
Nicholas Goeldner has had a fine tour so far with two wins in MA1. Alongside fellow Aucklander Josh Love-Parata, they will both be looking for a high finish as they make a late charge on the MA1 tour. Coming up just shy at Nationals, veteran Brady Kuech will be looking to go one better.
2nd seed Charlotte Dunkley goes into North Island Champs with a title defence in mind. New Plymouth's Aimee Whitmore came out victorious in Taupō last season. This may be the most competitive division with all the top 5 seeds already won an event on tour this season.

Taupō is back baby - bigger and better than ever before! This not to be missed major event on the NZDG tour will see NZ's elite disc golfers battle it out over two epic courses. March 17th-19th, 2023.
Event HQ and one of the enhanced (and expanded) courses is again based at the Taupō Golf Club. Our second venue is the superb Spa Park, located literally just 500m away.
