Kia ora e te whānau

We are sending out what seems to be one of our final panui as the Maunga to Moana Kaupapa. 😢

We are sad to say that due to repercussions from COVID and the cancelation of our last event we can no longer put this event on for our whānau. The financial pressure it has placed on our kaimahi has forced us to make the call to close up the kaupapa for the time being (indefinitely).

We have explored many other options, but nothing has come through and without full blown financial support to kick start the kaupapa we can't expect all our kaimahi to keep working for aroha anymore.

So whānau, if anybody has contacts with major sponsors or organizations who would love to keep this kaupapa alive and thriving for a small community on the east coast, send us a message.

The Maunga to Moana Whanau would like to let everyone know that our next event will be at the END of 2023. (Dates TBC)

To give our team the opportunity to prepare for the biggest and best event to date we need a little more time.

Event won’t be in March (so relax and enjoy holidays Whanau)

We will update everyone when all details are confirmed

Kia ōra e te iwi,
We know many of you would’ve been in your last weeks worth of preparation for our Maunga to Moana Adventure, however due to the current nature of what’s going on we made the call to postpone until 2023 ⛰

We know many of you were disheartened by that call but 100% understood our reasonings behind it.

What this means though whānau is we have a whole year to get fitter & faster to smash it out next year 💥

Not only that this allows us to get some exciting things done behind the scenes, which we will reveal in time to come.
