In the meantime the NZ champs went on a bit of a tiki tour - Queenstown in 2010, Hawkes Bay in 2011 and Nelson in 2012.

SSWC returned to Rotorua in Spring 2017…with 499 riders, scratching the 7-year itch and with $30,000 raised for charities - Lifeline Aotearoa, a local mental health initiative, Rotorua Trails and Brain Injury Trust Rotorua.
2010, The Big Show with the Singlespeed Champs of the World - 1000 entrants from 30 countries - being raced at our place...
The Pig and Whistle NZ Singlespeed Champs were first

run in Rotorua in 2008 and 2009. In 2013, it came home for a quiet, little birthday celebration - drink some beers, tell some lies, have some fun and catch up with your mates and raising $5K for the Cancer Society...Done... Dunedin took over in 2014. Then we ran the Anzac Singlespeed Champs in 2015 commemorating the 100th anniversary of Anzac Day 1915 during WW1. We raised $15,000 shared between 3 great causes Kidney Health NZ, RSA Welfare Fund and the Rotorua Trails Trust.
