U14s Vikings Rugby 2019 New Zealand Tour

Today the boys had another tough game, this time against John Paul College in Rotorua. The boys played a hard and strong game and defeated John Paul College 17-12.

Today the boys were given the opportunity to have an elite training session at the Chiefs HQ, in Hamilton NZ. What an amazing opportunity for the boys to learn new skills from one of the best rugby teams 🏉

Today our boys headed to South Auckland to play against De La Salle College. This was a very tough, hard game and the boys played their hearts out...unfortunately they were defeated 75-7. Great game played boys 🏉

The boys start to the tour has been very eventful, their plane from Canberra to Sydney was delayed making them miss their connection flight to Auckland. After 7+ hours at the airport in Sydney, they were finally on their way to NZ and arriving to their first destination Whangarei at 4am.
Even though they didn’t have much sleep the boys were ready for their first day and their first rugby match against Kerikeri Junior Rugby Club. The boys had a strong first game but unfortunately were defeated by Kerikeri 53-15 🏉

Today our Vikings U14s make the trip to New Zealand Aotearoa for their 2019 rugby tour. The boys will make long life memories together not just playing rugby but also meeting new friends and learning a new culture.
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for supporting the team over the past year and supporting all our fundraising events to make this tour possible.
