ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨
Whats up team, hoping everyone is well despite the year its been - it’s been some time, and we hope you’ve managed to keep up in your training (we haven’t… eek) 😂
We’ve had tonnes of messages regarding this years event, if its still going ahead, when its being post ponned to, if it can be moved and hosted elsewhere… and after considering a few things we’ve decided to throw out this year completely and gear up for 2021 for the reasons below…
1. 💰 Financial sponsors through naming rights played a huge part in keeping costs down and helping us deliver a quality event in 2019. However, in the current environment sponsors were hesitant in jumping on board - and righty so.
2. 😷 The current COVID environment is way too unpredictable at the moment, despite other events going down we feel its to greater risk and simply don’t have the resource to cater for any unforeseen disruptions.
3. 👷♂️ Some of the venues we use are being renovated, hereby making it way more difficult in terms of logistics.
We are committed to delivering an event that is nothing but top notch from the onset and throughout. With the reasons above hindering this - we think it’s only wise we throw all our weight behind EVENT2021.
HOWEVER - if you are still really looking to throw down next month, our Affiliate Partners CrossFit Ruark have a masters division in their in-house competition - Battle In Vegas which is taking place on 21st November. Be sure to check it out.
